Project Overview
A project managed by the
and funded by the Department of Health
Improve people's health by enabling them to influence policies and services that affect their
health:
- We coordinate the
,
a new self-help network that helps people to influence health services and policies. Hundreds of NHS and Local
Authority staff, community groups and individual members of the public are exploring ways of coming
together to put the health back into health services. Why not join them today?
- We are a founder member and coordinator of Communities for Health
- a coalition of organisations that support people to play active roles in planning and implementing action
How we will do it
-
Put people who can help each other in touch, and provide them with information and advice via the
Health Voice Network, where you can see and comment on our plans
- Carry out and commission projects to help people get involved - see our list of free reports
- Try to be a model of good practice for others, in everything that we do
How you can help
- Join the Health Voice Network
- Tell us what you think about what we are trying to do.
All comments and suggestions welcome!
- Tell us about your experiences of people getting involved in planning and policy making, and what you learned
- Put us in touch with others
- Tell other people about us
